2023 GLGC Women’s Open Day – Thursday 21 September

The 2023 Gungahlin Lakes Women’s Open Day will be held on Thursday 21 September. Our annual open day is an 18 hole event with an 8:30am shotgun start.

Lunch after the event is included in the entry fee of $50. You’ll also be able to buy tickets for a chance to win one of our lovely raffle prizes.

GLGC members and visitors with a GA handicap are most welcome to play in this event.

Stump grinding

Hi All,

 

After great work by Michael Brice, Territory Horticulture (both of whom donated their time, effort and machinery) and our hard-working ground staff, you will notice a few trees missing. The stumps for most of these newly felled trees and existing stumps from previous work have now been ground down as well.

Due to this stump grinding, the Match Committee has implemented the following temporary local rule
All areas affected by the stump grinding work (including track marks) thru the course are to be treated as GUR (when no marking is present)

We have been in the process of developing a course Water Management Plan.  This has now been finalised and agreed by Ainslie’s Board and is now posted for your information.  As should be with these types of documents, it is a document that will be referred to in guiding our water usage and regularly revised.
