All new Pro-Pin competition

All new Pro-Pin competition
All New PRO-PIN
The Golden shot is no more !!
As of 1 December 2023 our new Head Professional Simon Houston will be introducing the Pro-Pin. Pro-Pin is an optional entry and is an additional prize to standard nearest the pin prizes.
The rules are simple, the cost will be $1 (per round) with 90% of the takings awarded as the prize and 10% going to our juniors.
One of the par 3 holes in each comp will be nominated as the Pro-Pin. The person who wins the nearest the pin on the Pro-Pin hole wins the money on that day. There’s no jackpot – it will be awarded each comp. The remaining par 3s will still have a regular NTP awarded.
You no longer need to be within a metre – you just need to be lucky enough to get NTP on the Pro-Pin hole of the day to have extra $$$ in your account. The more participants we have means more money for our Juniors and more $$$ for winning. An extra dollar could potentially nett you over $100 for a great shot (or lucky fluke) on a par 3.

Member Update – 17 November

Member Update – 17 November

Hi all…

Just a reminder about the club’s AGM scheduled for Tuesday (21 Nov) at 7.00pm in the Spike Bar.  The bar will be open with the Committee shouting drinks and hot snacks from 6.30pm and then after the meeting.

Hopefully, you have had a look at the Annual Report published on the website around a week ago, against which we will take any questions at the meeting.  Ainslie CEO and CFO will be in attendance, who will also take any question that you have.   Simon, our new Head Professional,  has been invited to the meeting and will pop in if he can which offers you the opportunity to say hi.

At the meeting we will also welcome in your 2024 committee within which there will be at least two new members.  The meeting is an opportunity for you to welcome in the new committee and give these folks a sense of what you see as the areas of priority.

It would be great to see you at the meeting.

Have a fun time at the Greenkeeper Revenge game on Saturday and remember to plan to stay for the sit-down lunch and the presentations to follow.  After lunch will will be doing all the Honour Board presentation to those that have won our premier events during the year.  Celebrating the achievements of these folks is something we should all do.

Additionally, as we round the day off, we will be doing the $300 badge draw.  Every member in attendance will get a ticket and one will walk away $300 better off.  Good luck on this one.

Play well…..

Your Club President.
