Cap on Lifestyle membership numbers

Members,

With Gungahlin Lakes membership at an all-time high, the available tee times , particularly on Saturday, are at a premium. Whilst we have mechanisms to give members a fair chance to play each week we also need to be proactive.
As of 1 February 2024, no additional Lifestyle memberships will be offered, and a soft cap of 150 lifestyle memberships is now in place.

Motorised buggy battery charging

Members,

A number of recent fires at Australian Golf Clubs has generated a response from Insurance companies. Ainslie has indicated that insurance for the charging and storage of golf buggy batteries is not covered and all members must cease any charging or storage of batteries at Gungahlin Lakes.
I don’t think this ruling affects too many members and I think the science of battery charging in particular will continue to evolve and we can revisit the option in the future.
