2024/25 Membership fees

Golf membership fees for the 2024/25 golfing year have been finalised. You will note there has been a modest increase in fees from last year, in line with CPI. The letter attached provides everything you need to know, including fees for all membership categories and due date for payment. 

If you are intending to play in the 2024 Club Championships your fees will need to be paid by Wednesday 9 October, with the first weekend of the champs being 12/13 October.

Vale Tony Wood

It is with deep regret and a heavy heart that I pass on the sad news that our golfing friend Tony Wood passed away yesterday afternoon following a long illness.
A former Captain of the ACT Vets, he was a gentleman of the first order who will be sorely missed by everyone.

Tony was also a founding member of Dad’s army and served on the GLGC Committee.
Our sympathies go out to his wife Sheila and all of their family. 
Tony, rest in peace.

GLGC Men’s Amateur Open

Entries for the 2024 Men’s Amateur Open will open Saturday 17 August.

This year’s event will be held on the weekend of 7-8 September. Entry fees for members is $60 (non-members $80).

Outstanding support roles from a legion of groupies who made the arduous trek to the warmer climates – Kevin Hilton Flanagan, Jeffrey Turvey, Connor Farrell, Mike Hogben, CraigMichelle Farrell…GLGC REPRESENT!!!!
