BEST SCRATCH GOLFER 2012-2013

Click here to view progress results at end of April 2013 – Mr Cool (aka Ross Mc) with 442 from his six best rounds still holds a handy lead over Mr Steady, Darren Barratt on 449. Daylight is still a clear third but Gavin Macauley has snuck into the next spot with 468 – grief-stricken A Reserve Pennant Manager Les Molloy sits tied with Bob Wade on 474. Rounds 10 and 11 are the last rounds of the club championships so the leaderboard will show the best 8 rounds next week – overall result is the best 8 of 16 rounds.

PRESIDENT’S SENIOR CHALLENGE 2012-2013

Click here to view final results – an amazing last round of elderly golfing on 6th April saw Brucey Hoffman hold on despite a surge from several players who left their run too late. Kan Billington fired a 72 to grab second spot (2 shots behind Bruce) while perennial bridesmaid Norm loughton tied second with a fine 74. Also tied second was The Cart Man, Greg O’Neill, who finished with a 77. Barry Brown’s 70 jumped him into 6th place while special mention goes to Lindsay Warden (who obviously wrote this) who soared from 54th to 39th with a fantastic 72.
