Local Rules during Irrigation Project

 The following Local Rules will apply for the duration of the irrigation project.

1.            All earthworks & preparatory works associated with the project are to be treated as G.U.R. Relief from these areas is COMPULSORY. Relief is to be taken in accordance with Rule 25-1
2.           Any materials e.g pipes are to be treated as immovable obstructions. Relief is to be taken in accordance with Rule 24-2
3.            Temporary protective screens are to be treated as immovable obstructions Rule 24-2. In addition, “Line Of Sight” relief is permissible from the temporary screens.
4.            The Local Rule will remain in place until completion of the irrigation work

Birdie Talk – Autumn 2014

For those members who not aware, Gungahlin Lakes has been chosen to hold the 2014 Australian Interstate Teams Matches starting with Foursomes on the Sunday followed by match play, matches from Monday to Friday.  Read all the News.

Nine Hole Membership and Competitions

Nine Hole Membership 
The Club has introduced a new Nine Hole membership category and to complement it the Pro Shop is now running 9 hole competitions on Mon- Fri (except Wednesday) open to all membership categories.

9 Hole Stableford Competitions
Competitions are available to all membership categories. Play is Single Stableford generally from front White and Red tees only.
Competitions are run by the Pro Shop throughout the day Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday (subject to course availability ie corporate days, Pennants etc which would have priority).
These are daily walk up Open 9 hole competitions open to all categories of members and players from other club (who must pay a green fee in addition to the competition fee). At least 2 players are
required to play together. All players must register in the Pro shop before play.  Members may book on line Tuesday between 0700 – 0800. Other booking times may open on line subject to interest.
To ensure a reasonable prize pool players are be handicapped daily after their round but prizes will be awarded as a multi round (best score) competition at the end of the week.
Competition fee $4 + $1 Irrigation levy = $5
